Great beer and great atmosphere. The style of this brew pub is relaxed and open. Nice touch with the free popcorn machine and branded bags. The beer was very good but there was no alternative for the none beer drinker. Which makes sense but makes it a little easier to bring the wife if they had a simple red and white to be able to drink on the grounds.

Love the beers. I’ve had a few here in NY and this spot was on my list to visit (coming from CA). Came all the way out here and arrived at 10:44pm, the hours listed are 11pm closing and the guy said “I call last call and will lock the doors at 11”. I love their beers! As a beer traveler who has visited 550 breweries, I’m totally disappointed and have no desire to go back. I wish the guy would have just greeted us with “yo we are closing, but I’m happy to give you a couple of tastes....” or something better than, CLOSED.

Beer is good, very IPA heavy. Bartender play cool music: Dinosaur Jr, Morrissey, and the like. Nice space.

Best brewery in NYC. I hate to say it cause I don’t want it to become crowded like other half but credit is due where it is due. These guys are on the top of the beer world in NYC and it is only a matter of time before they are recognized for what they are. Phenomenal fluid and phenomenal people who run and work their. Cannot say enough. Keep it up!!!

I have mixed feelings about this brewery. On the one hand, they make a high quality product, and what they lack in variety, they make up for with other charms. The design of the tasting room is large, open, and inviting, even though there aren't may seating options considering how huge the space is. Given its location, it doesn't quite have that neighborhood feel that a place like Other Half or Rockaway has. All things said, the only negative that really stood out to me on my trips there has been the poor bar service. I've always had the same bartender and she does not come across as very aware or interested in being there. It can be trying to get her attention for a drink, even when no one else is around. I do get a clique-y sense from the patrons who are often there, and if the bartender's friends are around, it's a frustrating experience getting much service, as she often leaves the bar unattended. It's the only brewery I've been to in NYC where the bartender seems disengaged with the product. Still trying to figure it out...

What a hidden LIC gem! Keep your eyes peeled because it's tucked inside a garage/warehouse. I went to another brewery in LIC and thought I was impressed...
