I live 8 minutes away from this place and I am so surprised that I found such an amazing brewery right in my neighborhood. I’ve always been a lover of beer and visiting this place is very inspiring and motivational. Looking forward to having my birthday party here and maybe even contract brewing :)

If u want different, then this place has it. They stand out from the rest and experiment on different types of beers just to get it right. The brewer's are like Mad Scientist and execute the right taste buzz for your liking. 👍👍👌👌

For someone that really doesn't drink a lot of beer I go to a lot of beer events. Weird. So stop reading here if you love beer 'cause I can't review the beer. This is a review of the facilities. There's a yard out back... I'm not expecting anything fancy, but they should have done it up a bit for their Oktoberfest. From my experience, balloons go a long way. Just a suggestion. Okay, I have a balloon fetish and I'll put balloons on everything if you let me. The tap room... Flies. So many flies. You know those restaurant grade bug zappers. It would be a good idea to get one. I was swatting at flies the entire time. The ac strip at the seating was a plus. Being able to charge your phone in any bar type establishment is always a good thing. I will review one drink they offer: the non-alcoholic Lemon Coffee Soda. SO bizarre upon the first sip, but it grows on you. Challenging enough for anyone who's a weirdo like me who doesn't like beer. Final suggestion... if Bronx Brewery came out with a hard soda, I would be so on board with that. I recently had a hard kombucha that was beer like and absolutely delicious. Think about it Bronx Brewery. Think about it.

Last night was really fun, I've been meaning to come to the Bronx to visit some of the independent breweries out here but I always end up getting sidetracked waiting for folks to join me, but I finally made it out here last night for their No Resolutions IPA launch party. I'm not too keen on IPAs but as far as this particular IPA goes, it went down pretty smooth. I also had the pleasure of trying ten different beers, all listed below: ____________________________________________ No Resolutions IPA: a citrus pine IPA with notes of smokey tropical lemongrass. It was pretty good and had 7.6 ABV. Slow your roll: Also an IPA with tropical hops and a tart finish. 4.6 ABV. American Pale Ale: Notes of English biscuit and caramel?! This was delicious, but still not the star of the night for me. Although 6.3% ABV ain't bad! Rye Ale: A crisp orangey ale with bold rye and piney hops. Also 6.3% ABV. Spring Pale Ale: Citrus hops with black tea and chamomile tea flavors. This had a really nice taste and 5.7% ABV. Winter Pale Ale: A spiced Pale Ale with ginger, cloves and cinnamon - 6.7% ABV. I liked this one, but couldn't drink too much of it either. "Name this beer": A hazy, tangerine flavored IPA. So many IPAs. This wasn't a fave for me at all. Came off nice and citrusy on the tongue and then had a bitter finish and mouthfeel that I often associate with IPA. This is a "me" thing as I'm not a fan of IPAs....yep. 8.56% ABV, that's cool, lol. Belgian: Your classic Belgian-style Ale. 6.7% ABV. Not bad at all. Bronx Banner: At 4.8% ABV, this is a simple golden Ale. Easy to wash down, smooth and very simple notes. On the black: THIS WAS MY FAVE BEER OF THE NIGHT!! Although there wasn't a single stout or porter (my fave beers!) this was the closest I was gonna get - and I wasn't settling - it was truly delicious. I had 3-4 pints of these! It was a light Pale Ale with a very chocolatey finish. I really wish this beer were on tap in more places. At 5.7% ABV is was a perfect beer for me to session all night. ____________________________________________ The setup of this Brewery is pretty awesome. There is a restroom and 10 tap bar upon entering and then there were 2 other tasting areas as you went further inside. The bottling and canning facilities are available for viewing and I kept studying everything throughout the event. Free awesome sandwiches, hand rolled cigars being rolled to order (I got 2!), a fun animated and printed photo booth, a caricature artist on hand and an awesome DJ (and sound) really made this a fun night with friends. It's not a far walk from the train but it's also a great area to find parking and I'm grateful for my friend who drove us here from Flushing (our rendezvous point earlier). The staff here was super friendly, knowledgeable and really passionate about their beers. I'm looking forward to returning soon!

A group of ten from work went there lots of beers to choose from. Seating was tight as we we're in the corner. You have to order or bring your own food there is no grill. Great place for after work get togethers.

This is a small brewery with a great vibe, well crafted beers, fun foods and cool decor. If you live or work in the Bronx and like craft beer, you need to...

Built For This

IPA - American

A cloudy, juicy IPA with lots of tropical fruit flavor. One thing the Bronx isn’t short on is toughness. Its strong work ethic and no-nonsense attitude is why we chose to brew our beer here. And in the spirit of the character of the Bronx, we created this tough as nails, Northeast IPA. Full bodied, hazy with tastes of orange, mango, and pineapple, it’s a brew made big & bold like the borough that inspired it.

Bog Smash

Pale Ale - American

A fall seasonal brewed with cranberries giving this pale ale a subtle tart finish. Cranberries can only grow in a few parts of the world and lucky for us, NY State happens to be one of them. We used cranberries from a few of NY's best bogs to add a subtle tartness to this seasonal pale ale. The hops we use provide woody aromas & bitterness and the malt's sweetness keeps the acidity of the berries in check. We feel the Bog Smash is the perfect complement for the crisp outdoor weather we love to enjoy in the fall. Plus, it's super fun to yell "Bog Smash", so hope you enjoy!

Bronx Autumn Pale Ale

Pale Ale - American

Fresh juice pressed from New York State apples makes up a quarter of the fermentables of this crisp and easy-drinking Autumn Pale Ale, lending it a slightly acidic, fruity and tannic finish. Northern Brewer hops from the west coast are added to the kettle and conditioning tank, contributing a woody and subtle mint character.

Boom Boom White IPA

IPA - White

Big floral and tropical aromas set up this delightfully balanced white IPA. Soft yet slightly tart wheat and lightly toasted malts are complemented by the gentle bitterness of the hops. Our brewers use late hop additions and dry hopping in the brewing process to give this IPA its big hop nose without an overwhelmingly bitter taste. This brew is love at first smell. Cheers!

Rye Fidelity

Rye Beer

A spicy Rye IPA that’s balanced with a generous amount of West Coast hops, giving this brew a strong, pleasant bitterness and raising it to Imperial status with an 8.1% ABV. Our devotion to our Rye Ale runs deep. After all, it was the second beer we ever brewed. But we couldn’t resist the temptation to make a bigger, more badass version and this spicy Rye IPA delivers. With heavy citrus aromas on thenose and a crisp, dry, warm finish on the mouth, it’s a complex, yet finely balanced big hoppy beer with an 8.1% ABV that we can’t get enough of. Looks like we committed some infidelity with our Rye Fidelity.

Uptown Coffee Milk Stout

Stout - Milk / Sweet

A rich, full bodied stout that delivers a dark roasted and chocolate taste that would make any coffee drinker smile. Heaps of small-batch roasted Ethiopian coffee from Uptown Coffee Roasters (our next door neighbor) lead the charge in this rich, creamy coffee milk stout. The milk sugar we add gives it plenty of sweetness but it’s balanced by floral, earthy and mildly bitter Willamette hops so you won’t have too much sugar in your coffee. If you’re looking for something sweet and chocolatey to warm you up on a cold NYC winter night look no further.

Where You Stand

Sour - Berliner Weisse

A refreshingly sour and cloudy ale brewed with cucumber. We’re firm believers that it’s not about where you’re from, but where you stand. Character makes you who you are, wherever you go. That’s the philosophy we had in mind when making this Berliner Weisse. A classic German-style ale, brewed in The Bronx, using a heavy supply of cucumbers and a small dose of basil giving it a character all of its own. Enjoy it no matter Where You Stand.
